Rental Agreement

This Rental Agreement constitutes a binding contract between the Renter and the Lister (Owner) facilitated through the Shangaar Platform. By confirming an order and paying the rental fee and deposit, both parties agree to the following terms.

01. Rental Period

The rental period strictly follows the dates selected on the platform:

Start Date: The day the renter is guaranteed to have received the item.
End Date: The day the renter must dispatch the item back to the owner.

02. Use & Care of the Item

The item must be used solely for its intended purpose and treated with care.
No permanent alterations are allowed. Temporary alterations (like safety pins) must not cause damage.
Renters are not permitted to wash or dry clean the item themselves unless explicitly agreed upon with the owner.

03. Late Returns & Penalties

Late returns impact other bookings and the overall community. Any penalties or late fees for failing to dispatch the item by the End Date will be based entirely on the mutual agreement between the renter and the lister. Shangaar does not enforce a standard late fee, so please communicate directly with the owner to resolve any delays.
